Custom Furniture Returns

Due to the custom nature of our furniture, all pieces are made specifically to your measurements and specifications. Custom furniture orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun, as they are created exclusively for your space.

Defective Products

If you receive a custom furniture item that has manufacturing defects or does not meet the agreed specifications, we will work with you to resolve the issue. This may include:

Repair of the defective component
Replacement of the defective item
Refund if repair or replacement is not possible

Please contact us within 14 days of delivery to report any defects.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your custom furniture order under the following conditions:

Before Production: If you cancel before production begins, you may receive a full refund minus any design consultation fees that have been incurred.
During Production: If production has already started, cancellation may result in partial refund based on work completed and materials ordered.
After Completion: Once the furniture is completed, cancellation is not possible due to the custom nature of the product.

Change Requests

If you wish to make changes to your order after approval but before production begins, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the changes. Once production has started, changes may not be possible or may incur significant additional costs.

Delivery Issues

If your furniture arrives damaged during delivery:

Please inspect the item immediately upon delivery
Document any damage with photographs
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
We will arrange for repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate

Warranty Claims

Our custom furniture comes with a warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty terms will be specified in your project agreement. Warranty claims should be made directly to us, and we will assess each claim individually.

Refund Process

If a refund is approved:

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Any shipping costs paid are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Right of Withdrawal Under Finnish Consumer Protection Law

Under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have the right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

Exceptions

However, the right of withdrawal does NOT apply to:

Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU)
Custom-made furniture created specifically for your space and measurements

As our furniture is custom-made to your specifications and measurements, the right of withdrawal typically does not apply once production has begun. However, you have the right to cancel your order before production starts, subject to any design consultation fees already incurred.

Pre-Contract Information

Before you place an order, we will clearly inform you that custom-made furniture is exempt from the right of withdrawal. This information will be provided in writing before you confirm your order.
